At Air Service Centre we are passionate about nurturing talent and growing our business from the roots up. We identify and appoint promising young candidates who are provided with
in-house, on-the-job training for a full year. After this training programme, employees are tested and depending on knowledge acquired candidates may enroll in product training courses which enable them to specialise in areas of preference. Through the South African Institute of Welding, for example, some of our employees have gone on to achieve a Competence Person on Pressure Vessels qualification.
We also provide assistance for employees to qualify themselves through a bursary programme. Supporting matriculants from our local previously disadvantaged communities, we offer an internship programme that includes holiday work, providing students exposure while they earn an income. Promising candidates are given the opportunity to apply for permanent employment at Air Service Centre.
